PRIVACY POLICY

We are very pleased about your interest in our company. Using the ghost.company Werbeagentur Austria GmbH website is generally possible without providing any personal data. However, if a data subject wishes to use special services offered by our company via our website, processing of personal data may be necessary. If the processing of personal data is necessary and there is no legal basis for such processing, we generally obtain the consent of the data subject.

The processing of personal data, such as the name, address, email address, or telephone number of a data subject, is always carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to the ghost.company Werbeagentur Austria GmbH. By means of this data protection declaration, our company would like to inform the public about the nature, scope, and purpose of the personal data we collect, use, and process.

Subscription to our newsletter

On the website of the ghost.company Werbeagentur Austria GmbH, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our company's newsletter. The personal data transmitted to the controller when ordering the newsletter is determined by the input mask used for this purpose.
The ghost.company Werbeagentur Austria GmbH informs its customers and business partners at regular intervals about the company's offers by means of a newsletter. The newsletter of our company can only be received by the data subject if (1) the data subject has a valid email address and (2) the data subject registers for the newsletter. For legal reasons, a confirmation email is sent to the email address entered by a data subject for the first time for the newsletter dispatch using the double opt-in procedure. This confirmation email serves to verify that the owner of the email address, as the data subject, has authorized the receipt of the newsletter.

When registering for the newsletter, we also store the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) to the computer system used by the data subject at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to be able to trace any (possible) misuse of the email address of a data subject at a later point in time and therefore serves to provide legal protection for the controller.

The personal data collected when registering for the newsletter will be used exclusively for sending our newsletter. Furthermore, subscribers to the newsletter may be informed by email if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or for registration, as may be the case in the event of changes to the newsletter offer or changes to the technical conditions. The personal data collected as part of the newsletter service will not be passed on to third parties. The data subject can cancel their subscription to our newsletter at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data that the data subject has given us for the purpose of sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time. For the purpose of revoking consent, a corresponding link is provided in each newsletter. Furthermore, it is also possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time directly on the website of the controller or to notify the controller in another way.

We use “dialog-Mail,” a software program from the Austrian company dialog-Mail eMarketing Systems GmbH, based at Nussgasse 31, 3434 Wilfersdorf, to create and send our e-mailings. We also use it to analyze openings and clicks so that we can tailor our information offering to the needs of our readers and provide them with targeted information. We do not analyze IP addresses. All data is processed by dialog-Mail in a high-security data center in Vienna.

You can unsubscribe from the mail service (e.g., the newsletter) at any time and without giving reasons by clicking on the corresponding “unsubscribe” link in each email or simply sending us an email. If you want to change or correct your data, you can also use the corresponding link in each email or contact us by email.

If you unsubscribe from all our newsletters and we are not required to retain your data due to other regulations, we will delete your data after you have unsubscribed.

AI Concierge

To provide a modern chat function, we use the AI Concierge from goodguys GmbH (Moeringgasse 20/1, Door 2, 1150 Vienna). This is an artificial intelligence (AI) from Austria that finds answers to your questions from our own content. Your personal data collected during chats is processed exclusively on servers belonging to the Austrian data processor (goodguys GmbH). This data includes your IP address and a session ID, which are used to distinguish between the chat histories of different users and to provide you with the chat function you require. In addition, the following information is transmitted to these servers:

  • Time stamp (time of request)
  • Content of the request
  • Country of origin of the browse
  • The default browser language
  • Device type
  • Operating system and
  • If applicable, the mobile phone provider used

By using the chat function, you consent to the processing of your data (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). As soon as you close the chat window on the website, your data is anonymized and can no longer be assigned to you. For questions asked via WhatsApp, the assignment to your WhatsApp account is deleted after 12 months. For the further development and control of the chat function for knowledge gaps or errors, the questions asked and answers given are then stored without personal reference. Chats conducted via WhatsApp are deleted (not/after 12 months). If you use WhatsApp to chat with the AI concierge, your WhatsApp identification data (profile, phone number) will not be forwarded to the AI concierge. Your requests are pseudonymized via an intermediary Austrian service provider (chatarmin.com GmbH, Kaiserstrasse 89/2/3, 1070 Vienna). The operators of the AI concierge therefore have no way of associating the stored conversation with your WhatsApp account or your person. When formulating the answers, parts of your request are forwarded to third-party servers (Google, OpenAI, etc.). However, the data transmitted to these providers does not contain any parameters that could be used to identify individual persons. The data is therefore anonymous. The assignment of responses to users takes place exclusively on the IT systems of goodguys GmbH. If you ask the AI concierge to display geographical locations and maps, map and environmental information may be transferred from Google Maps. Please note that Google cookies may be stored on your device. For more information about Google Maps, please refer to our privacy policy. We are currently unable to use technical means to filter out your entries that could be used to identify you. Therefore, please make sure that you do not enter any personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number, etc. in the chat window when using the chat. If you wish to contact us personally—e.g., for orders or complaints—please use our other contact options. Further information about the AI concierge and how it works can be found in the privacy policy (https://goodguys.ai/DSGVO-DSE-goodguys-v230.pdf) of goodguys GmbH.
